Eight brothers visited Memorial Lodge Thursday, September 5th and was treated to an excellent lecture of the Fellowcraft Stairway. Topics new to us involved the connection with the modes of music – notably the Doric (Dorian) and Ionic (Ionian) The lecture also included fascinating references to Greek Allegories – most especially Plato’s Allegory of the Caves….

Gray Lodge did it’s share in placing flags at each grave marker at Veterans Memorial this morning (Sunday) – starting at 7AM – The ground was hard and a spike or screwdriver could have saved a few broken flags. Good day all, It’s a new masonic year! Gray Lodge #329 held its first stated meeting with its newly installed officers last night and it was a great success! Brethren and guests enjoyed a meal at 6:00pm which included a new formal dining room touch, and the evening was concluded in peace and harmony. We…
Brethren, Please note that we for the January stated meeting will have our official visit from the DDGM, which means that the lodge will be opened in the Master”s degree. EAs and FCs are of course still welcome for the meal.

At the July 2nd Stated Meeting Gray Lodge awarded me with the first ever Living Stone award, “in recognition of continuous dedication and service to the Craft by exemplifying the principle tenants of Freemasonry”.
